The Ruby

Called escarbuncle by Saint Hildegarde, she poetically describes its formation: “Escarbuncle develops during moon eclipses, the sun pours all its forces into the firmament. This is why it has the glow of the sun, which seeks to resurrect the moon”(Physica ch XIV)

This stone has great strength and should therefore be used sparingly. All the stones we offer are suitable for the 4 uses mentioned by St. Hildegard. In addition to its effects on the body, she points out that ruby is useful for preserving clothes.
