The Red Jasper

Saint Hildegarde poetically describes its formation: “Jasper develops when the sun goes down towards its setting and when its brilliance is often obscured by clouds”. (Physica ch X)

Jasper has many virtues, and in order to choose the most appropriate stone, you must first consider the use that will be made of it. To place the stone in the ear canal or nostrils, a pendant with a chain can be preferred. For a direct application on a painful point, the flat stone may be more practical. To take the jasper by hand a necklace or a polished stone may be suitable.
