The Emerald

Saint Hildegarde poetically describes the formation of emerald in the first chapter of the Physica dedicated to stones: “It is formed in the early morning and at sunrise when the air is still cold and the sun is already warm”.

St. Hildegarde speaks of the many virtues of emerald, each of which corresponds to a particular use. In order to choose the right stone for you, it is best to know in advance what you will use it for. So, to bring it to your mouth or to make emerald wine, it is better to use a rolled stone. For other applications, necklaces and pendants may be suitable.
