The writings of Saint Hildegarde of Bingen

Helped by various secretaries and inspired by God, St Hildegarde left us a large number of books. The Scivias is the first one she wrote and it is her major spiritual writing. The Physica I and II brings together all her revelations about plants, animals, stones and natural elements. It is a basic reference for preparing and applying many remedies.

The compilation of her letters gives a beautiful overview of her life, her political influence and her century in general. The Symphony of Heavenly Harmonies brings together all the recovered musical texts of Saint Hildegarde. Her other books complete her vision of nature, man and his unity of body and spirit and complete the panorama of a rich and profound thought that led to her proclamation as Doctor of the Church in 2012.
